The threshold crosses at the exact instant the scores rupture. The tab snaps downward forcefully, piercing the lid to form a small oval hole.
Before this split second, the can stays completely sealed, with no access to the contents. Immediately after, the opening appears, carbonation rushes out with a sharp hiss, and the drink becomes reachable.
The can has now shifted from enclosed to accessible, marked by that sudden breach.
